Munster's Secret Weapon Unveiled!

Kilmihil's own Des Ryan not only saw his beloved Munster romp to a famous victory over Leinster, but he then had the pleasure of celebrating the win with the players themselves!

We met up with the Munster team after the match and had a great time,¹ Des explained. ŒThey were all there: Paul O¹Connell, Donncha O'Callaghan, Jim Williams, Jerry Flannery. It was great craic. Perhaps the funniest moment of the day came when Des - who stands at 6¹5 - met scrum half Peter Stringer, who is... well let¹s just say he¹s not quite as tall!

Peter Stringer was very excited to meet his rugby idol! said Des. He signed my shirt and I offered to sign his suit in return. Surprisingly, none of the Munster fraternity took up Des kind offer to line out for Swords next season and also turned down the offer of his services for the Heineken Cup final.

As regards the Cardiff showdown with Biarritz, Des is confident that Munster can finally lift the trophy at the third attempt. "Biarritz haven¹t got a hope in hell and I predict a nine point win.
