McNamara's and Swords Agree Deal
SWORDS Rugby Club and McNamara's Pharmacy have announced a new sponsorship deal for their underage players.
The ALSAA-based club have been fielding junior sides for the past three seasons and are set to launch mini-rugby (under-12s) in the coming weeks.
Swords RFC Honorary Secretary, Joe Reid, presented proprietor John McNamara with a framed Swords youth shirt as a memento of the sponsorship agreement.
‘We're delighted to have a prestigious sponsor such as McNamara's on board,' Mr Reid said. ‘They are one of Swords' leading retail outlets, with stores on Main Street, Dublin Street and Boroimhe.
‘I'm sure the relationship will greatly benefit underage rugby at the club. Plus, we now know where to go for all our medical needs after a tough game!'
Mr McNamara spoke of his pride at being able to help the development of youth rugby in the town.‘This is a good opportunity for me to put something back into the community,' he said. ‘I look forward to seeing the fruits of the hard work being done with mini rugby.‘I'm delighted to see the club making such good progress in the area of youth development and look forward to helping them further in the years to come.' |
